Graphic Designer

Salary $28-35k

 

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to join their team to develop creative, "eye-catching" online ads, web pages, landing pages, and marketing materials. The Graphic Designer will collaborate closely with team members to develop high-impact, results-oriented advertising. Responsibilities include:  *Create promotional ads that will appear on different areas of the site – including homepage, category pages, and other navigation areas. *Code web pages that will be used for different promotions using HTML and CSS skills that adhere to Search Engine Optimization best practices. *Create multi-function web-pages that will be used for navigation purposes and can include such code functionalities as AJAX and JavaScript. *Understand and manage project deadlines. *Work in a fast-paced team environment with quick turnaround times.

Requirements:

*2+ years of online graphic design experience *Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field is recommended. *Expert knowledge in HTML & CSS is required (hand-coding ability is a plus). *Strong knowledge of AJAX and JavaScript is a plus. *Proficient with using both MAC and PC platforms. *Expert knowledge of graphic applications including Photoshop and Dreamweaver. *Strong knowledge in Adobe Illustrator and Flash is a plus. *Ability to take conceptual ideas and delivering a stellar product maintaining project vision, inserting creative artistry, and maintaining company style guidelines. *Excellent written and verbal communication skills. *Forward thinking. *Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment *Team player in working under tight deadlines. *Detail-oriented and flexible. *Interest and understanding of the numbers and performance side of graphic design and marketing. *Desire to continue growth and learning in coding skills.
