Manager, Marketing Finance

Job Description:

This position serves as the primary financial support role within the cross-functional brand teams in support of two different companies products, whose members include Marketing, Trade Production, Legal, Medical Affairs and Sales Operations. This position works directly with the Brand Directors to plan, analyze and manage product P&L’s. This position involves functioning in a multidisciplinary team capacity on management level working committees. This position utilizes business and financial modeling, U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principals, contracts and budget forecasting methodology. This role involves both verbal and written communication with multiple groups and cross-functional teams across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
 
·Serve as the primary financial support role within the cross-functional brand teams in order to analyze and manage product P&L’s.

·Coordinate monthly close activities including accounting entries, account analysis, executive commentary, participation in quarterly reviews and audits with D&T.

·Work with brand teams to analyze market and shared assumptions to forecast short and long-term sales projections.

·Responsible for quarterly brand forecasts and assist in the annual business plan process.

·Manage financial aspects of marketing programs including approval process, payment authorization, tracking expenses and reviewing contracts.Job QualificationsBasic Qualifications:

·BA/BS Degree in Accounting or Finance
·5+ years experience in Accounting and Finance
·2+ years experience in sophisticated spreadsheet application (Excel)
·2+ years work experience in a position involving Business Management


Preferred Qualifications:
 
·CPA, Graduate Degree
·1+ years experience working with SAP and/or TM1
·1+ years experience working with PowerPoint
·1+ years experience working in the pharmaceutical industry
