Jewelry Buyer - Diamonds

Salary: $100k total comp  

Company is seeking a Jewelry buyer with a focus on the Diamond category.

Job duties include:
• Meeting and working with current vendors and partners.
• Analyze sales and identify product areas where more product assortment is necessary.
• Ability to attract new vendors and partners based upon customer demand for products.
• Tracking and analysis of sales and returns on a daily and monthly basis
• Strong price negotiating skills
• Managing existing inventory and allocating inventory in high conversion categories
• Traveling and attending various trade shows
• Pricing products and comparison shopping to ensure the lowest possible price.

Ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of prior diamond buying experience. Online and/ or drop ship experience is a plus. Must be organized, proactive, quantitative, entrepreneurial, show attention to detail, have strong negotiation and communication skills. Bachelor's degree is preferred. Experience working for or with companies such as Amazon.com or similar companies is a plus. Experience with Excel is a plus.
