Quality Assurance Engineer

Salary: $75k - $85k

This job would be reporting into the QA department and working closely with development. The major tasks would require: 

* Develop and publish test plans, procedures and final test reports 

* Perform static testing on requirements. Help to develop detailed test cases. 

* Ensure each requirement has a test case and that each requirement is not under or overly tested. 

* Report, review, and close problem reports. 

* Receive new software builds from development and run acceptance tests 

* Perform the black box testing by running manual as well as automated tests including regression 

* Gather required deliverables to include in project folder 

Qualifications 

- 4 years hands-on testing experience in at least two of the following web browsers: 

        - Internet Explorer

        - Netscape

        - Firefox

        - MAC Safari 

- 2-3 years experience in creating and executing test plans 

- 1 year experience in debugging / reviewing web-based applications 

- 1 year experience testing database integration issues, preferably with Oracle and SQL 

- Experience with technical documentation 

- The candidate must have excellent analytical and communication skills and experience working closely with developers. 

- Experience in Linux commands 

- Experience with database 

- Experience with Networks
