ORACLE DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR

Salary: $80k - $95k

Position Summary:

The Oracle Database Administrator will be responsible for support and maintenance of large OLTP production databases running Oracle 10g RAC in both Unix and Linux environments. The candidate must have
extensive experience with Oracle 10g Real Application Clusters (RAC), tuning applications running against a clustered database, performance tuning and trouble shooting of enterprise database, network, storage, and application layers. The candidate must also possess expert problem solving skills.
Candidate must be knowledgeable of the use and implementation of histograms, indexes, and statistics to improve query performance. Experience with korn and bash scripting also required.
Requirements: BA in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
